Retail Accountant

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of top-of-the-line kitchen equipment. They are seeking an experienced Retail Accountant to join the team in Westchester, NY
.

• Work collaboratively with Finance and Retail Operations departments
• Perform month-end closing procedures
• Oversee account reconciliations and audits
• Manage and ensure execution of physical inventory counts in retail stores
• Monitor cash reporting and reconciliation at retail stores
• Prepare reports and analyses on inventory levels and shrink
• Manage quarterly financial statements and reporting, such as inventory valuations
• Analyze and provide context for expense and balance sheet fluctuations
• Salary Range: $75-85k annually, based on experience

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred major in Finance, Accounting, or similar
• 2+ years’ Retail Accounting experience
• SAP experience highly preferred
• Highly knowledgeable in GAAP and GAAS
• Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
