Shift supervisor, Retail

We’re looking for a dependable, motivated, and experienced team member to step into the role of Evening Store Supervisor at our Bay Ridge location. As Evening Supervisor, you’ll lead the FOH team and support Fulfillment operations during the busiest times of the day, making sure everything runs smoothly until close.

• Supervise FOH team members (Bud tenders, Cashiers, Security/Concierge) during evening shifts.
• Provide coaching and real-time feedback on Kaya Bliss sales and customer engagement practices.
• Run evening huddles to align the team on goals and promotions.
• Provide break coverage and step into any role (Sales Floor, Register, Fulfillment, Security) to support the team, especially during peak hours.
• Assist with receiving and checking in product deliveries when needed.
• Occasionally cover shifts in the event of call-outs.
• Oversee FOH and Fulfillment workflows, ensuring a smooth transition from day management.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling SOPs and complete nightly reconciliations.
• Manage closing procedures: secure product, verify registers, finalize deposits, and confirm store cleanliness.
• Handle incident management and uphold compliance with all OCM regulations.
• Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally and reinforce Kaya Bliss guest engagement practices.
• Perform other duties as necessary to keep the store running at its best.

• 1–2 years of supervisory or lead experience (retail, hospitality, or cannabis preferred).
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, compliance, and customer service.
• Confidence managing cash handling, POS systems, and daily operations.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, decisive presence under pressure.

• Must be flexible regarding work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
