Summary

The Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for a luxury beauty counter, combining hands‑on makeup and skincare services with sales leadership. This role drives personal and counter sales through in‑store and digital selling, manages vendor relationships, and ensures the counter is organized and customer‑ready. The manager balances selling, training, and event coordination to build a loyal customer following.

• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product recommendations tailored to customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in‑store and digital tools including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Process sales, refunds, and exchanges and open customer accounts to build loyalty
• Maintain counter presentation, organization, and cleanliness while staying current on beauty trends and product knowledge

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, and skincare with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to connect with customers, handle concerns empathetically, and contribute to a positive team environment
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow‑through, and a high level of ownership and accountability
• Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort using networking and digital selling tools
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends and perform continuous movement for 6-8 hours with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
