Beauty Counter Manager - NYC Flagship

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences and maximizes sales for an assigned luxury beauty brand at the NYC flagship. This role balances selling and coaching, builds customer relationships both in-store and digitally, and coordinates vendor events and promotions.

• Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products based on customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to drive business results
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers in joining the rewards program
• Collaborate with team members to provide a welcoming and inclusive customer experience
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, and customer readiness

• Passion for beauty, makeup application, skincare, and current industry trends
• Proven ability to connect with customers, handle concerns proactively, and build loyalty
• Comfort working in a commissioned sales environment with a drive to achieve sales targets
• Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills with high ownership and accountability
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be on your feet 6-8 hours per shift, perform frequent bending and reaching, and lift up to 25 pounds
