Stock Associate

Full-Time Stock Associate (Mon–Fri)

Busy retail pet supply store seeking a reliable, detail-oriented stock associate to support daily operations.

• Receive, unload, and verify deliveries against invoices/packing slips
• Break down pallets, sort product, and stage items for floor replenishment
• Stock shelves, endcaps, and displays following store standards (FIFO/rotation for dated items)
• Monitor inventory levels and proactively restock high-velocity items
• Maintain organized overstock areas and storage systems
• Label, price, and tag merchandise accurately
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and shrink control
• Identify damaged, expired, or short-shipped items and report issues promptly
• Keep aisles, stockroom, and receiving areas clean and safe
• Operate hand trucks and basic stock equipment (as needed)
• Support store team with product pulls, transfers, and special orders
• Support store teams with special projects as needed at various store locations
• Assist customers with locating products or carrying out heavy items
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Able to lift 40–50 lbs and stay on your feet for extended periods
• Organized, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Prior retail/stock experience a plus
