Our client, a growing jewelry wholesale distributor, is seeking a Wholesale Account Executive with experience managing major retail partners (e.g., Macy’s, Kohl’s, Belk, JCPenney, Dillard’s, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, etc.) to join their team in New York, NY. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will own and grow relationships with key retail partners, managing accounts end to end across brick and mortar, eCommerce, and drop ship channels.

This role is ideal for candidates from jewelry, accessories, ready to wear, footwear, beauty, or other wholesale consumer fashion categories who understand how to drive sales through trend based assortments, retailer relationships, and data driven decision making. Experience managing major retailer or department store accounts is required. Responsibilities
  • Own and grow relationships with assigned major retail accounts
  • Manage the full wholesale lifecycle across brick‑and‑mortar retailers, eCommerce, and drop‑ship
  • Build and present assortments, line sheets, and product proposals based on trends and top sellers
  • Develop pricing strategies and retailer‑specific product recommendations
  • Analyze sales, inventory, and margin performance to proactively drive revenue growth
  • Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Ensure order accuracy, resolve fulfillment issues, and maintain retailer product data
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to launch new assortments and initiatives
  • Track competitor activity and retailer feedback to refine strategy and drive performance
Qualifications
  • 2+ years in wholesale account management or wholesale sales experience required
  • Experience managing major retailers/dept. store accounts (e.g., Macy’s, Kohl’s, etc.) required
  • Background in jewelry, accessories, RTW, beauty, or similar wholesale fashion category required
  • Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency required
  • Ability to present product, influence buyers, and manage relationships independently required
  • Highly organized, proactive, and commercially minded
Candidates must have experience selling into national major retailers or department stores – not retail floor sales, not independent boutiques, and not DTC/marketplace sales (Amazon, Walmart, etc.).#J-18808-Ljbffr
