As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience at our West Village flagship store. You will welcome and assist customers, drive sales through personalized service and clientelling, process transactions, maintain visual merchandising standards, and help ensure the store is organized, stocked, and operating smoothly. Working closely with the Store Manager and fellow associates, you will contribute to achieving sales goals, building meaningful customer relationships, and representing the Lingua Franca brand with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service by welcoming guests, building relationships, and creating a personalized shopping experience
- Drive sales by assisting customers with product selection, styling recommendations, and custom embroidery offerings
- Develop strong product knowledge and confidently communicate Lingua Franca’s craftsmanship, sustainability practices, and brand story
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently through Shopify POS
- Utilize Lingua Franca’s clienteling and CRM platforms to build customer relationships, capture customer information, and drive repeat business through personalized outreach
- Assist with inventory replenishment, organization, receiving, and cycle counts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling sales floor in accordance with merchandising standards
- Collaborate with the Store Manager and team to achieve sales goals and ensure smooth daily store operations
- Support in-store events, activations, and brand partnerships
- Fulfill, package, and ship online orders accurately and efficiently to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Communicate customer feedback, product requests, and operational observations to store leadership
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while representing the Lingua Franca brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to problem solve in a fast-paced retail environment
- Calm under pressure and capable of making thoughtful decisions quickly
- Collaborative team leader who fosters a respectful and positive work environment
- Previous fashion retail experience and strong knowledge of customer service best practices preferred
- Shopify experience preferred
- Ability to work weekends and during peak seasonal business periods
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners for brand trunk shows and retail events
