Position: Client Advisor, Leather goods - Saks New York
Location: New York

Summary

The Client Advisor acts as a trusted brand ambassador delivering best-in-class client service while achieving individual sales goals for leather goods at Saks New York. This role focuses on building and managing a personal client portfolio through personalized outreach, product expertise, and styling guidance. The Client Advisor also supports boutique excellence through merchandising, inventory tasks, and adherence to store security procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, and grow a personal client portfolio focused on retention, reactivation, and lifetime value
  • Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and KPIs including sales volume, UPT, and average dollar per transaction
  • Deliver outstanding client service in person, by phone, and via electronic communication
  • Strategically develop local and international clients through personalized outreach and appointment setting
  • Leverage product knowledge and brand storytelling to provide tailored recommendations and styling guidance
  • Support floor moves, visual merchandising, housekeeping, and organize stock on the sales floor and in the heart of house
  • Assist with locating merchandise at other boutiques and accurately process charge-send sales
  • Participate in inventory and cycle counts and follow store security and operating procedures
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of retail sales and client service experience, preferably in luxury consumer goods
  • Strong drive for business results, passion for fashion, and excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service across channels and maintain strong follow-through
  • Ability to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficiency with phone systems, cash registers, sensor-tag removers, computers, and other equipment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, move and handle boxes and fixtures, and lift at least 30 lbs
