Location: New York

We are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Associate Planner to support planning and inventory strategy across a fast-paced wholesale apparel business, with a strong focus on Amazon. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to drive sales performance, manage inventory health, and support forecasting and budgeting across multiple product categories.

This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with strong retail math skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience in wholesale or Amazon account planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain monthly sales, margin, and inventory plans across multiple brands and categories.
  • Analyze historical sales performance and current business trends to develop accurate forecasts.
  • Reforecast sales, receipts, margin, and inventory on a recurring basis as business needs evolve.
  • Prepare and submit monthly budgets, forecast updates, and end-of-month reporting.
  • Monitor inventory levels and inbound receipts to ensure appropriate stock support for planned sales.
  • Identify inventory risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve performance.
  • Track open orders against sales plans and receipt flow to help maintain healthy inventory positions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, merchandising, and inventory partners to support business goals.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in planning, merchandise planning, or buying.
  • 1–2+ years of Amazon wholesale planning experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong overall Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of retail math, forecasting, and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working both independently and collaboratively across teams.
