Summary
The Retail Training Manager, North America designs and delivers training programs to elevate client experience, product knowledge, sales performance, and operational excellence across North America. This hands‑on role partners with retail leadership and cross‑functional teams to localize corporate learning strategies, lead onboarding, and provide in‑store coaching. The role requires frequent store visits and measurement of training impact through KPIs and LMS reporting.
Responsibilities- Design and execute comprehensive training programs including onboarding, product knowledge, luxury selling ceremonies, clienteling, and operational excellence
- Deliver in‑store coaching and conduct regular store visits to assess training effectiveness via observation, KPIs, mystery shops, and client feedback
- Partner with Retail Leadership, HR, Visual Merchandising, CRM, and Global Training to localize and implement training strategies
- Manage training progress and documentation through the Learning Management System and provide reporting and insights to leadership
- Support store managers in identifying skill gaps, creating individualized development plans, and driving performance improvements
- 5+ years experience in retail training, coaching, store management, or multi‑unit retail leadership, preferably within luxury or premium retail
- Proven ability to develop and deliver training that drives measurable business results and to influence and coach teams across multiple locations
- Strong business acumen with experience analyzing KPIs and retail performance; experience with LMS platforms and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work full‑time with a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed; willingness to travel up to 50% across North America;
Bachelor’s degree preferred; multilingual capabilities a plus
