Selling And Service Assistant - Williamsburg

Summary

The Selling and Service Assistant supports front- and back-of-house operations at the Williamsburg boutique, handling point-of-sale transactions, CRM maintenance, and after-sales administration. This role partners with the sales and management teams to ensure the selling floor and stockroom are organized and client service standards are upheld. The position requires accuracy, strong customer service skills, and the ability to multitask in a luxury retail environment.

• Process and accurately record POS transactions, assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Provide high levels of client service at point of sale, including greeting, assisting, and packaging purchases.
• Support merchandising and selling floor maintenance: hanging merchandise, replenishment, and straightening displays.
• Assist in stockroom operations including ticketing, EAS tagging, inventory preparation, and retrieving stock.
• Manage after-sales tasks such as logging repairs, contacting clients, and maintaining records; maintain detailed CRM files and answer phones.

• Minimum 1 year retail experience; luxury retail experience preferred.
• Experience with POS and cash handling strongly preferred;
  Microsoft Office skills required.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and detail-oriented abilities.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to handle difficult situations with composure.
• Ability to lift 0-25 lbs. without assistance.
