Job Summary
The Global Retail Director for Tata Harper manages the brand’s top global retail accounts to drive revenue, margin, and growth while ensuring a consistent luxury brand experience across all markets. This role develops and executes strategic account plans, oversees assortment, promotions, and merchandising, and collaborates closely with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Operations teams. Acting as the primary liaison with key retailers and distributors, the Global Retail Director monitors market trends, competitor activity, and account performance to inform strategic decisions, safeguarding the brand’s premium positioning and maximizing commercial performance worldwide.
PrincipalAccountabilities
- Own global relationships with key retail partners and oversee account strategy.
- Develop and execute global account plans aligned with brand objectives.
- Drive commercial performance, including sales, margins, assortment, and promotions.
- Ensure brand consistency in-store, including visual merchandising and customer experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Education, and Operations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and account performance to inform strategy.
- Support regional teams or distributors in implementing global initiatives.
- Monitor category health and SKU productivity in key retailers.
- Oversee seasonal retailer market planning and execution.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10-15 years in luxury or prestige consumer goods, cosmetics, or skincare
- Multiple years experience in global account management or commercial strategy role
- Strategic account leadership and negotiation
- Luxury retail and consumer experience expertise
- Strong commercial acumen and P&L understanding
- Cross-functional leadership and communication skills
- Experience in multi market retail strategy, including assortment planning, pricing, and promotional management
- Experience with department stores, MBS, distributors, and specialty retail
- Team oriented, enjoys working and collaborating with others.
- Determined and results driven.

- Takes initiative and leads discussion.
- Enjoys speaking and presenting to groups.
