* WHAT YOU WILL DO:

* ** Champion the vision and culture of Bergdorf Goodman while balancing brand loyalty to both BG and the vendor**
* ** Increase sales growth and overall department performance with company vision and values, partnering with leaders**
* ** Oversee all merchandise-related operations, including presentation standards, returns, damages, and vendor/merchant communication**
* ** Lead team execution across department functions, identifying and addressing risks or roadblocks**
* ** Contribute to store-wide strategic goals by establishing departmental priorities and building aligned projects**
* ** Partner with Buyers to review business performance and implement action plans to improve results**
* ** Collaborating with Client Development Leads to establish and execute client engagement strategies**
* ** Analyze customer behavior, trends, and feedback—both internal and external—to inform and adapt department strategies (e.g., focus programs)**
* ** Plan and manage the departmental budget, ensuring adherence to expense guidelines while maximizing revenue**
* ** Enforce audit compliance and uphold department and stockroom operational controls.**
* ** Lead, develop, and manage team performance to achieve business and service objectives
****** WHAT YOU WILL BRING:****
* ** 4–6 years of relevant experience, in luxury retail or fashion**
* ** 4-year degree**
* ** Proven track record of achieving business goals**
* ** Experience in building, leading, motivating, and coaching high-performing teams**
* ** A collaborative, “win together” mindset**
* ** Basic proficiency with MS Office Product Suite, advanced proficiency preferred**
* ** Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds**
* ** Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays**
* ** Comfortable working in a remote environment
