Summary

The Team Manager - Operations supports day-to-day store operations at the New York store, driving process improvements, operational excellence and inventory control. This role coaches and develops the operations team, implements brand guidelines and serves as a business facilitator in partnership with store leadership. The manager leads operational projects, ensures compliance with health and safety and supervises stock management to protect product assets.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, coach and develop a team of Operations Associates, conduct trainings and support succession planning.
  • Own weekly cycle counts and yearly inventory; work with Inventory Control to monitor negatives and stock loss targets.
  • Implement and improve store policies and procedures to optimize stockroom operations and prevent theft or damage.
  • Serve as store leader in the Store Manager's absence and act as project lead for operational launches with HQ support.
  • Support CRM and merchandising teams with data quality, replenishment strategies and sales-driving stock analysis.
  • Manage facilities, health and safety compliance, and monitor P&L to drive operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of retail experience with at least 3 years managing people.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, deliver against deadlines and drive commercial results.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory processes, stock management and retail loss prevention.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with retail systems (eg Cegid).
  • Knowledge of US retail laws, security and health and safety legislation; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Foreign languages a plus; excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
