Position Summary

The Kith Operations Lead is the right hand to the Operations Manager. Supervises merchandise handling process, provides training for daily activities of all stock associates in partnership with the Operations Manager, maintains an organized stockroom, oversees replenishment, and provides leadership with feedback on staff performance and inventory needs. Manages shipping and receiving of in‑store merchandise and communicates with Warehouse and HQ teams.

Acts as the point person for back‑of‑house matters when the Operations Manager is unavailable.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensures execution of all shipment receiving and processing procedures.
  • Ensures proper product organization and placement in the stock room.
  • Performs audit and transfers of damaged and defective merchandise, completes re‑tickets, and handles phone orders.
  • Tracks productivity and ensures the team meets the efficiency standards set by upper management.
  • Ensures all delivery information is accurately recorded and reported.
  • Communicates daily goals and priorities to support associates, redirecting activities as needed to achieve results.
  • Manages shipment supplies and fixtures and communicates needs to the leadership team.
  • Ensures the stockroom is neat, clean, and organized.
  • Influences employees to support an operationally efficient and effective process‑driven environment.
  • Assists store management team with housekeeping responsibilities (dusting, sweeping, trash collection, and other standard retail tasks).
Special Projects / Tasks
  • Participates and assists in Physical Inventories as required by the business.
  • Assists Merchandising team during visual initiatives, as needed.
Requirements
  • Availability: Open & flexible availability, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays. Consistent work on weekends, special projects, drops/releases, or as business needs require.
  • Experience: 6+ months in a customer‑facing role, 1+ year in a retail environment, 1+ year in an apparel operations role.
  • Skills / Abilities: Thorough communication with customers, peers, and Direct‑Reports; efficient time management; effective multi‑tasker; ability to manage multiple projects at once; able to lift and move 25lbs; perform standard retail tasks (bending, twisting, climbing ladders/step stools); stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Professional Characteristics: Detail‑Oriented, Self‑Starter, Organized, Team Player.
  • Personal Characteristics: Supportive, Solution‑Driven, Natural Leader.
