Fragrance & Beauty Assistant Boutique Director - Williamsburg

Summary

Lead and support the Fragrance & Beauty boutique team to deliver exceptional client experiences through operational excellence and coaching. Act as key partner to the Boutique Director, assuming oversight in their absence and balancing sales floor leadership with back‑of‑house responsibilities. Maintain boutique standards for brand image, merchandising, and inventory while helping to drive business results.

• Support and develop the boutique team, leading on the sales floor and coaching product, service, and artistry skills.
• Assume oversight of the boutique in the Director’s absence and help manage daily staffing and floor coverage.
• Manage sales floor operations, stock and restocking needs, visual and hygiene standards, and areas of pride.
• Serve as operations lead for the MMS system; receive, check in, ship, and manage damaged inventory.
• Establish and maintain organized stock storage and execute Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist with event planning, coordination, and execution and participate in annual inventory reporting.

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of related leadership sales experience in a luxury retail or operational role preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coaching skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize time (approx. 60% sales floor, 40% back of house), and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexible schedule with availability for late nights, weekends, and some holidays; in‑store presence required.
• Passion for client experience and ability to uphold brand standards and visual merchandising requirements.
