Objective

The objective of an Assistant Manager is to support the Store Manager in maximizing sales and enhancing the overall employee and customer experience. As a passionate advocate for the cannabis industry, you will embody the values of Legacy Lifestyle Cannabis Dispensary and uphold its reputation both within and outside the store. You will demonstrate adaptability, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail in navigating the dynamic retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to foster a sales-driven culture within the team.
• Analyze sales reports and market trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Support and mentor team members to enhance their sales skills and maximize their potential.
• Lead by example and actively get involved in team incentives.

• Ensure that Bud tenders follow established selling steps to cultivate and retain a loyal customer base.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable experiences for guests.
• Resolve customer issues with a focus on achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.

• Stay informed about product knowledge through continuous learning and training.
• Maintain merchandising visual standards to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Assist in the accuracy of inventory management processes, including incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Assist in strategic product assortment management to optimize sales performance.
• Uphold inventory management processes, including incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory audits.

• Foster positive relationships with team members, motivating them to excel in their roles.
• Support the development of cannabis knowledge among staff.
• Evaluate employee performance and collaborate with the Store Manager on development plans.
• Assist with scheduling to ensure excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Provide guidance, training, and feedback to team members, facilitating their growth and development.
• Demonstrate a commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusivity by fostering a welcoming environment for customers and team members of diverse backgrounds. • Maintain store cleanliness and organization standards.
• Ensure administrative tasks and supplies are managed efficiently.
• Address IT issues by escalating them to the appropriate contacts.
• Uphold our vault organization procedures.
• Assist with any Health and Safety areas as directed by the General Manager.
• Stay up to date with any internal and cross-functional communication.

• Adhering to state compliance standards.
• Validating government issued identification, and refusing service to intoxicated guests and minors.

• Stay informed about marketing initiatives and engage with social platforms to understand guest perspectives.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to host any brand activations or events.
• Proactively contribute ideas and solutions to enhance marketing strategies.
• Whenever possible, compliantly capture customer information for our store loyalty program initiatives.
