Merchandising Assistant - Intimate Apparel Design

New York, NY | 4 Days In-Office, 1 Day Remote

At Dana-co, we design and market some of the most recognized brands in luxury intimate apparel, and we're looking for a Merchandising Assistant to join our New York team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organized, analytical, trend-driven, and passionate about fashion and merchandising. You'll play a key role in supporting product assortment strategies across multiple brands while collaborating closely with Design, Product Development, and Sales teams.

• Maintain merchandising tools, reports, and seasonal assortment charts
• Research market trends, competitive launches, and whitespace opportunities
• Monitor fashion, color, and consumer trends through industry resources and retail visits
• Analyze sales performance and identify opportunities to drive the business
• Support seasonal merchandising plans and color management processes
• Coordinate sample logistics and cross-functional product handoffs
• Partner with the Merchandising Manager to ensure accuracy across all merchandising materials and timelines

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Apparel, or a related field
• 1-3 years of merchandising experience, preferably in intimate apparel or luxury fashion
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and In Design
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
