The Monster, located in Kiamesha Lake, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Golf Shop Assistant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. Pay Rate: $19 an hour
The Golf Shop Assistant will assist with the day-to-day operation of the pro shop. This includes the following but is not limited to maintaining the pro shop appearance, assisting with physical inventory, and accurately checking customers in/out. Because of the emphasis placed on customer service and merchandising, a friendly attitude and exceptional people skills will be a priority for the position.
Monster Golf Club is attached to Resorts World Catskills and will be open from April through October. This opportunity is part time and seasonal.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Create a welcoming customer service-oriented atmosphere that promotes the Monster Golf Club as well as exceeding the needs of guests.
- Provide the highest level of customer service with a positive attitude.
- Maintain a clean and professional retail shop which includes arranging visual displays and mannequins.
- Assist with receiving of retail goods in accordance with Troon retail policies and procedures.
- Ensure that the golf shop counter and storage areas are kept clean and neat to maximize efficiency.
- Responsible for re‑stocking traffic and gift items as well as other stock items.
- Assist with developing and implementing promotional plans for the golf shop.
- Incorporate safe and efficient practices in job performance while upholding Troon hospitality standards.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure a seamless check‑in process.
- Perform opening/closing duties in accordance with Monster GC policies and procedures.
- Assist with coordinating the club's shuttle service.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Exceptional customer service record with experience in retail preferred.
- Must be well organized and be able to work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Basic knowledge of golf preferred but not required.
