Job Overview

As a Fragrance Team Leader you will drive sales and provide customer service across the fragrance department(s). You are responsible for sharing your extensive product knowledge, developing and motivating a team to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales goals, and partnering with the Sales and Customer Experience Manager and beauty vendors to execute company and store‑based events.

What You Will Do
  • Connect business priorities to daily activities by providing direction on brand training, events, and product strategies that drive sales.
  • Inspire teamwork, model behavior, and articulate activities to achieve sales goals and elevate the customer experience.
  • Communicate with vendors and store leadership to execute events based on the marketing calendar.
  • Analyze business performance and create strategies to exceed daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual goals.
  • Onboard new hires, review colleague productivity, provide coaching and feedback, and partner with store leadership on team performance.
  • Support a cross‑brand selling environment and train the fragrance team on all unassisted brands and department key items.
  • Offer the customer compelling experiences and build relationships that keep them returning.
  • Use the clientele program to build relationships, meet sales goals, and share promotions and product launches.
  • Build brand loyalty through engaging customers in our rewards program.
  • Foster continuous learning through product demonstrations and peer‑to‑peer learning.
  • Remain up to date on product knowledge by attending virtual and in‑person training from designated brands.
  • Merchandise new receipts, process damages, testers, and select merchandise to return to vendors.
  • Adhere to safety and hygiene standards; comply with asset protection control procedures.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
