Sales Associate
Assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of merchandise and help maintain a clean, orderly presentation throughout the store. Provide exceptional customer service and support daily store operations.
Responsibilities- Represent Ace Retail Group positively and proactively assist customers in solving problems.
- Greet customers upon entry, thank them upon departure, and maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Answer phone calls promptly, courteously, and effectively.
- Forward unresolved customer complaints to management.
- Apply strong product knowledge and understand store layout to guide customers.
- Provide personalized, customized service to meet customer needs.
- Create a positive, professional, and safe work environment.
- Receive, check‑in, and stock merchandise across the store; maintain back‑stock levels.
- Perform daily maintenance, ensuring the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor area remain orderly and clean.
- Maintain end caps, advertising merchandise, and overall sales floor appearance.
- Assist with merchandise resets throughout the store.
- Support Department Specialists with price changes and special orders.
- Ensure signage is up‑to‑date throughout the store.
- Operate forklift with proper training.
- Communicate Store Support Center issues and merchandising or sales ideas to the General Manager.
- Participate in store meetings and maintain professional appearance and behavior.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Formal retail experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and climb.
