Merchandiser, Outlet

Mid-senior level Merchandiser for the Outlet channel responsible for managing the buying process and building compelling, profitable assortments for the regional business. Leads execution of the buying strategy, manages in-season range to drive revenue, and partners with cross-functional teams to meet product needs and present ranges correctly in-store.

• Own the regional outlet business and create the most profitable assortment for outlet categories.
• Lead and execute the Versace buying strategy during buying sessions and tailor assortments by store based on sales history and customer profile.
• Drive in-season range management to optimize revenue and trading.
• Partner with global merchandising, visual merchandising, retail leadership, and regional marketing to align product needs and presentation.
• Prepare action plans for low-performing categories, product training materials, and conduct store visits and business trips for market assessment.

• Bachelor's degree in business or fashion merchandising preferred.
• 4-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel and computer proficiency.
• Keen awareness of customer and brand profile and strong interpersonal/teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in the NYC office three days a week and travel to stores as needed.
