We are in search of a Manager, Visual Merchandising to join our Visuals team.

Position Summary:

The Manager of Visual Merchandising is responsible for executing Araca’s standard of visual excellence across our roster of live event and retail clients. As a member of Araca’s Visual Merchandising team, the Manager of Visual Merchandising will lead our team of Visual Merchandising Associates through installations, closures and refurbishments, as well as collaborate on design and display projects and their implementation into our live event and retail venues.

Strong leadership skills are imperative for over-seeing booth installations, strikes and refurbishments, as well as communication with field staff on product addition and removal. This position involves administrative tasks such as venue communications, vendor correspondence, purchasing, and expense allocation and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Create engaging and memorable display and retail environments for live event and retail installations.

· Lead live-event installation and fabrication liaising inter-departmentally, with the on-site crew, and client.

· Coordinate moving components up to/on install day, including but not limited to various vendors, scene shops, freight partners and storage facilities.

· Book booth freight both locally and long-distance to and from tour launches and closures.

· Maintain displays for existing accounts as well as creating guides for new and upcoming accounts.

· Schedule and liaise with Araca’s roster of freelance skilled assistance for installs, closures and repairs.

· Facilitate scheduling for Visual Merchandising Associates for general maintenance work, new product roll-outs, and other administrative assistance.

· Maintain displays for existing accounts as well as creating guides for new and upcoming accounts.

· Provide directives for field management of all accounts for new product.

· Liaise with the Visuals department on designs and ideas for new and upcoming projects.

· Reevaluate existing accounts for better visual presence, refurbishments, and updates.

· Maintain budgetary restraints and work within those set boundaries.

· Identifying and sourcing props, fabrics, hardware and lighting

· Seek feedback from colleagues, managers and customers on the visual impact of displays and implementing changes.

· Maintain schedules of upcoming launches, major installations, and new product roll-outs.

· Design, update and maintain price lists, offer/feature signage and other tabletop and free-standing signage.

· Receive and archive Photo Submissions from existing accounts on a bi-weekly basis.

· Participate in site visits and new client relation events.

· Previous retail experience and theatrical knowledge is highly favorable, but not required.

· Ideal candidates may come from visual merchandising, experiential marketing, theatrical design, museum exhibits, retail design, event décor, or themed entertainment backgrounds
