About the OpportunityOur client is seeking a Travel & Expense Specialist to join their finance team on a contract basis to support a maternity leave coverage. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on travel and expense experience who enjoys improving processes, partnering with employees across the business, and helping teams navigate change.
The individual will play a key role in supporting the rollout of a new expense management platform while ensuring day‑to‑day travel and expense operations continue to run smoothly. Experience with Ramp is highly preferred, though candidates with Brex, Concur, Expensify, or similar expense management systems are encouraged to apply.
What You'll DoSupport the transition to a new travel and expense management platform
Assist employees and stakeholders with expense reports, reimbursements, and travel‑related questions
Help document and improve travel and expense procedures and best practices
Perform account reconciliations and ensure expense data is accurate and complete
Partner with finance and accounting teams to support expense policy compliance
Provide post‑launch support and issue resolution during the transition period
Coordinate with internal teams and remote stakeholders to ensure a smooth user experience
Help maintain organized processes and prepare for a successful handoff at the end of the assignment
Experience working with travel and expense platforms such as Ramp, Brex, Concur, or Expensify
Background in expense reporting, reimbursements, reconciliations, or accounts payable support
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to support employees across various departments
Experience supporting process improvements, system transitions, or change initiatives is a plus

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
