ABrief Overview
Handle the picking of merchandise cases for stores. Maintain established metrics for accuracy and performance to meet the needs of store orders. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
What You Will Do:- Collect and read store orders that include item location, descriptions, and quantity.
- Gather the required cases of merchandise and transfer cases to pallets or conveyers using safe lifting techniques.
- Demonstrate ability to operate power equipment and perform preliminary safety checks of equipment.
- Ensure pallet security with tape and shrink wrap.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety guidelines.
- Perform general housekeeping to ensure working area and aisles are clear of debris.
- Participate in training for other warehouse duties.
- Carry out area strategy to maintain performance metric standards.
- Basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
- 0-2 years work experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
