Stock Supervisor - Bleecker

Summary

The Stock Supervisor is a full-time in-store role responsible for receiving, unpacking and preparing merchandise for the sales floor and maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom. This role oversees all stockroom operational functions, executes inventory control processes, and implements directives from the Store Manager and Corporate Office to ensure accurate inventory and efficient floor replenishment. The supervisor supports floorset preparation, audits stockroom standards, and helps minimize shrink.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-store receiving, complete paperwork, and notify necessary parties promptly.
• Lead re-pricing and floorset preparation projects; delegate tasks to ensure timely completion.
• Sensor, tag, steam, fold and hang merchandise and replenish the selling floor daily.
• Execute transfers, returns, and damaged merchandise processes as directed.
• Process customer charge sends and follow up on inquiries from sending stores.
• Maintain and audit stockroom organization, sizing, folding, and inventory paperwork in Retail Pro.
• Prepare store for physical inventories and support inventory reporting to minimize shrink.
• Perform daily operational tasks including trash/box removal, cash-wrap supply filling, lighting checks, and seasonal sidewalk maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Ability to perform some heavy lifting and physical stockroom work.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory reporting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Retail Pro or other inventory system experience preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, strong communication skills, and dependability.
