The Opportunity As a Stock Associate, you will be responsible for stocking and organizing new incoming inventory. You will play a key role in providing an excellent shopping experience by making sure product displays are merchandised, expertly displayed and available to our customers.
Essential
Job Responsibilities Stock shelves and rotate product properly to guarantee fresh product is available for the customer
Follow merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
Organize new inventory, removes, and breaks down empty boxes
Operate machinery and follows all safety procedures
Collaborate with team members and communicate relevant information to store management
Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Other duties as assigned
You must be 18 years of age or older to be employed for this role Prompt and courteous customer service
Ability to safely and properly operate equipment, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards
Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Effective time management
Knowledge of products and services of the company
