The Customer Service Associate provides an exceptional customer experience and assists with the general upkeep of the store.
Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers throughout their shopping experience
- Maximize sales by suggesting products and up-selling when appropriate
- Remain knowledgeable of the store’s merchandise and current promotions
- Assist in the cleanliness and upkeep of the store; maintain store displays and merchandise
- Assist with inventory and receiving of merchandise
- Replenish backstock to maintain appropriate levels of merchandise on the floor
- Conduct markdowns of merchandise as instructed
- Perform opening/closing duties, including securing cash registers and store security
- Communicate customer complaints and inventory concerns to management in a timely manner
- If identified as a keyholder, additional responsibilities will be assigned
- Other duties as assigned
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Ability to multitask and resolve minor customer service conflicts
- Alcohol Beverage Awareness (TAM Card) may be required
- Additional security clearance may be required
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug testing may be required
