As a Counter Manager in the Macy's Cosmetics Department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a cosmetics line, coaching a team of skilled Beauty Advisors, engaging with customers, enhancing their experience, and helping the team reach sales targets.

• Inspire teamwork to reach sales goals and elevate the customer experience.
• Create lasting connections with customers passionate about cosmetics, beauty, and fragrance.
• Review and analyze business performance of sales results across daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual periods.
• Develop and implement business‑driving events to achieve department goals.
• Supervise proper presentation, organization, storage, and replenishment of stock.
• Sell merchandise through effective customer service techniques and professional selling skills to meet personal productivity goals.
• Meet and exceed individual and company sales goals.
• Work well with vendors for optimal business outcomes.
• Manage vendor events and promotions, including scheduling and execution.
• Maintain compliance with all hygiene standards.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships and establishes authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Prolonged periods (at least two consecutive hours) of standing or walking around the store or department.
• Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.
• Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping; color vision required.
• Lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 lbs.
