The Keyholder serves as a shift leader and supports management in overseeing the daily operations of the dispensary. This role includes opening and closing the store, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with company policies and New York State cannabis laws. The ideal candidate is dependable, proactive, and has experience in retail operations or a regulated industry.

• Opening/Closing Duties:
  
  Perform store opening and closing procedures, including securing the premises, reconciling cash registers, and preparing the store for daily operations.
• Team Supervision:
  
  Act as the lead staff member during assigned shifts, providing guidance and support to the sales team. Address employee concerns and escalation issues to management as needed.
• Customer Service:
  
  Deliver exceptional service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints with professionalism. Ensure customers are educated on cannabis products and consumption practices.
• Compliance Oversight:
  
  Monitor staff adherence to New York State cannabis laws, including , purchase limits, and proper handling of cannabis products.
• Cash Handling:
  
  Supervise register operations during shifts, ensuring accurate transactions and cash management. Conduct register reconciliations at the end of each shift.
• Product Restocking:
  
  Assist in maintaining an organized sales floor by restocking products and ensuring compliance with labeling laws.
• Incident Reporting:
  Document and report any security, compliance, or operational incidents to the Front of House Manager or other supervisors.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
