Part Time Bridal Stylist

Please note that this is a part time position. Hours can range depending on the needs of the business.

Fridays & Saturdays are a MUST, and Holidays are preferred. The normal store operating hours are 9:30-6:30.

• Maintain a respectful, friendly and supportive rapport with managers and teammates
• Communicate appointment issues, customer concerns, and operational needs promptly with management.
• Be willing to assist with additional store tasks as needed to support the overall customer experience

• Appointment preparation and follow through, maintaining your own follow up’s and relationships with each bride.
• Developing comprehensive knowledge of our collections, styles, fabrics, colors, and style options/ possible customizations etc.
• Developing knowledge of bridal terminology, bridal and bridesmaid trends, fit, alterations etc.
• Cultivate friendly and supportive rapport with all customers
• Guiding brides through their dress selection
• Providing friendly and helpful feedback for brides, offering thoughtful suggestions
• Maintain expert-level product and fit knowledge – including accurately measuring brides, offering fit feedback, suggest correct sizing
• Consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals & closing sales
• Model professionalism, warmth, and brand standards on the floor
• Styling brides from head to toe: incorporating accessories with her favorite gowns
• Communicate applicable monthly promotions
• Processing dresses after appointments- ensuring hanger straps are used, dresses are zipped up/ tied etc.
• Wiping down all items used between appointments: pen, iPad, clips, measuring tape etc.
• Maintaining showroom standards throughout the day: straightening hangers, standardizing bridal gowns, trains, etc.

• Supports the opening and closing of the showroom, which can include the following tasks:
  • Opening
    • Turn on all lights
    • Turn on music
    • Ensure showroom standards were completed from close
    • Process any gowns remaining from close
    • Prepare for your appointments
    • Gather necessary materials: iPad, clips, notebook, pens, measuring tape
    • Make notes of your brides’ appointment notes/ style boards
  • Closing
    • Completing any assigned closing and cleaning tasks
    • Process any remaining gowns from last appointments
    • Re-merchandise gowns onto sales floor
    • Straighten all gowns and dresses
    • Ensure trains, veils and accessories are also standardized
    • Febreeze gowns- at least twice weekly
    • Tidy your desk area
    • Kitchen is cleaned
    • Plug in iPads to charge
    • Turn off music
    • Turn off lights
    • Lock front door & set alarm

• Responding to customer inquiries via email for the Jenny Yoo New York and Jenny Yoo support email via Gorgias
• Booking appointments via phone & email
• Maintaining your email/phone call follow ups with each bride
• Sending post appointment recaps
• Track and communicate order status with brides
• Process & confirm sales orders
• Address Customer Service complaints- offer solutions following company guidelines

• Maintaining showroom standards, and supporting the cleanliness of our shared space
• Support follow-ups, pickups, & rush order requests
• Maintain a polished, professional appearance consistent with the brand
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shifts and appointments
