Habits Collegiate is a licensed collegiate apparel company creating officially licensed apparel for colleges and universities across the country. We work with college bookstores, campus retailers, Greek organizations, and other wholesale partners to bring trend-driven collegiate apparel to students and fans. As we continue to expand our wholesale presence nationwide, we are looking for a recent college graduate to join our team and grow with the company.
Role DescriptionThe Wholesale & Retail Coordinator is a full-time, entry-level position designed specifically for a recent college graduate
. This role will help manage Habits Collegiate’s relationships with college bookstores, campus stores, and other wholesale customers.
The coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day communication with retail partners, helping manage wholesale orders, preparing line sheets and product information, organizing barcodes and SKUs, and making sure all product and order information is aligned with each retailer’s requirements.
This person will also help manage collegiate and sorority merchandise sold through bookstores and campus stores, communicate new collections and available products to buyers, follow up on orders and reorders, and work closely with our internal design, production, licensing, and operations teams.
Responsibilities- Communicate directly with college bookstores, campus stores, and wholesale buyers
- Manage day-to-day communication with existing wholesale customers
- Help build relationships with new bookstores and retail partners
- Create and maintain line sheets, product catalogs, pricing sheets, and wholesale materials
- Manage UPCs/barcodes, SKUs, product information, and retailer setup requirements
- Ensure product information and orders are accurate and aligned across all systems
- Help manage wholesale orders from initial conversation through delivery
- Coordinate collegiate and sorority merchandise sold through bookstores and campus retailers
- Send buyers new collections, product launches, samples, and available inventory
- Follow up with buyers on orders, reorders, samples, deliveries, and new opportunities
- Maintain organized records of wholesale accounts, contacts, orders, and opportunities
- Work closely with design, production, licensing, and operations teams to ensure orders are completed correctly and on time
- Recent college graduate required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, Merchandising, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating professionally with retail buyers and business partners
Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and projects at once - Proficiency with spreadsheets and willingness to learn wholesale and retail systems
- Interest in fashion, collegiate apparel, wholesale, retail, or merchandising
- Greek life, campus organization, retail, fashion, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus
- New York City area preferred
- No extensive professional experience required - we are looking for someone motivated, organized, eager to learn, and excited to begin their career in the collegiate apparel industry
