Seasonal Retail Cashier

K&L Wine Merchants is looking for friendly, dependable and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Cashiers to join our team for the holiday season.

As a cashier, you'll be at the center of the customer experience - welcoming customers, processing purchases and helping make every visit to K&L a great one. You'll work alongside a knowledgeable team in a fast-paced retail environment while getting exposure to an incredible selection of wine and spirits.

You don't need to be a wine expert to apply. But if you already know and enjoy wine and spirits or you're genuinely interested in learning more, you'll stand out as the kind of cashier we're especially excited to meet.

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, attentive service
• Process purchases accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system
• Handle cash, credit cards, gift cards and other forms of payment
• Help customers locate products and connect them with our wine and spirits specialists when needed
• Verify customer identification and follow applicable alcohol sales laws and company policies
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized and inviting
• Assist with stocking, merchandising and sales floor recovery as needed
• Pitch in wherever needed and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

• Dependable, punctual and ready to contribute as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced retail environment
• Detail-oriented and able to handle transactions accurately
• Strong communicators with a positive, team-first attitude
• Interested in wine, spirits or specialty retail and excited to learn more
• Available to work at least one or both weekend days per week

Shifts are available Monday through Sunday between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Specific days and hours will be scheduled based on availability and business needs. Weekend availability is important during our peak holiday season.
