Supervisor, Retail, Retail & Store Manager

Summary

The Supervisor is a retail leadership role responsible for supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations and delivering exceptional customer service. The Selling Supervisor builds and maintains client relationships, demonstrates advanced product knowledge, assists with merchandising the sales floor, and motivates sales associates to meet and exceed objectives. The role requires strong communication skills, operational reliability, and a minimum of two years of luxury retail experience.

• Support Store Manager with coordination of daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Perform cash handling tasks such as preparing deposits and supervising sales transactions while adhering to cash protection procedures.
• Check in merchandise and assist with floor merchandising and inventory organization.
• Coach and mentor sales staff to drive sales performance and customer satisfaction.
• Engage in promoting and selling products to build clientele and encourage repeat business.

• Minimum of 2 years of luxury retail experience in a similar or supervisory role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
• Ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems, personal computers, and software including MS Office.
• Demonstrated ability to set and maintain high standards of performance and contribute positively to a team environment.
