Build and execute a unique product strategy that meets and/or exceeds financial goals across the leather goods categories The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in buying to...

• Drive sales and achieve financial goals for the leather goods categories
• Analyze sales and inventory weekly/monthly/quarterly to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business and make recommendations to drive growth
• Identify risks and opportunities within the assortment through regular hind‑sighting that incorporates sales performance, consumer feedback, and competitive insight
• Work in close partnership with Global Merch on line development to ensure business needs are met
• Partner with Planning team to manage open‑to‑buy and markdown/promotional approach to ensure achievement of sales, margin, and turn targets
• Own SKU plan to achieve financial goals
• Liaise with the supply ops team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
• Partner with Ecommerce team to enhance the digital shopping experience
• Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, VM, Ecommerce, Field Team, & CX to executive business strategies
• Comp shop the marketplace and gather qualitative feedback on product, customers, & competition to identify assortment opportunities
• Present in milestone meetings to leadership
• Manage an assistant buyer to meet deliverables while successfully supporting their growth and development

• Proven ability to own category performance including sales, margin, and inventory
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable strategies
• Ability to influence and leverage cross‑functional partners
• Excellent time management with complete follow‑through on all responsibilities
• Flexibility and a team player mentality in a fast‑paced atmosphere
• Strong presentation skills

• Strong financial acumen
• Advanced excel skills
• 5+ years of experience in a retail buying role
• Omni buying experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
