Seasonal Retail Floor Associate (Potential Extension Through End of Year) About the Role

Join a high-energy retail environment where you'll help create an exceptional customer experience for guests from around the world. As a Seasonal Floor Associate, you will assist customers with purchases, provide product recommendations, demonstrate products, and help maintain a clean, organized, and engaging sales floor. This seasonal opportunity runs through the end of the year, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
• Assist customers with merchandise purchases and answer product-related questions.
• Provide product demonstrations and share knowledge of gaming and electronic products.
• Recommend products based on customer interests and needs.
• Accurately process transactions using a cash register/POS system.
• Restock merchandise and maintain organized, visually appealing displays.
• Support routine store maintenance, merchandising, and display upkeep.
• Follow attendance, punctuality, and scheduling expectations.

• Minimum of 1 year of retail customer service experience.
• Cashier experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to lift and move merchandise while following proper safety procedures.
• Ability to use ladders and assist with basic display maintenance when needed.

• Experience in a gaming, electronics, technology, or entertainment-related retail environment.
• Knowledge of video game products, accessories, and services.
• Passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.

• Must be available to work at least 3 weekdays and have full weekend availability

• Availability during the holiday season is required.
• Blackout periods apply during Black Friday and throughout December.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Experience Level: Entry Level

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
