Pay: $18-$20 per hour

Position: Hourly, non-exempt

Starting pay within the listed range is based on relevant experience, training, inventory knowledge and job responsibilities.

Munchies is looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-focused Fulfillment Associate to support our back-of-house cannabis operations. You will prepare pickup, delivery, and in-store orders; keep inventory organized; restock the fulfillment room; and help make sure the product shown in POS matches what is physically in the store.

This role is essential to the customer experience. Customers may not always see the work happening behind the scenes, but they depend on you to prepare the correct product, in the correct quantity, on time and without inventory mistakes. The right person works with urgency without sacrificing accuracy, notices when something is wrong, and communicates problems instead of ignoring them.

• Review incoming pickup, delivery, and in-store orders.
• Locate the correct products using the product name, brand, category, size, SKU, and other identifying information.
• Verify each product and quantity before adding it to an order.
• Communicate promptly when a product is missing, damaged, mislabeled, or unavailable.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and product audits.
• Help research inventory differences by checking physical inventory, order records, and system activity.
• Check products against invoices, manifests and purchase records when assigned.
• Follow approved procedures for quarantined products, returns, waste and inventory adjustments.
  
  Maintain clean, orderly, and clearly labeled fulfillment and storage areas.
• Participate in daily shift huddles, inventory updates, and required training.
• Follow all Munchies procedures and New York cannabis requirements for inventory, security, recordkeeping, and product handling.
• Perform additional duties and support other store functions as assigned based on business needs, provided you are properly trained, and the work complies with all age restrictions, safety requirements, and applicable laws.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• At least one year of experience in order fulfillment, inventory, stockroom, warehouse, retail operations, or a similar detail-focused role.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between similar products, package sizes, and SKUs.
• Comfortable counting inventory and checking products against digital and written records.
• Able to work efficiently while maintaining order accuracy.
• Organized and able to manage multiple active orders without mixing them up.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow regulated procedures consistently.
• Able to work independently while communicating closely with Front of House, delivery staff, and the Back-of-House Lead.
• Able to perform the essential fulfillment and inventory duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Previous experience in a licensed cannabis dispensary.
• Familiarity with cannabis product categories, packaging, and labeling.
• Experience fulfilling pickup, delivery, or e-commerce orders.
• Experience conducting inventory counts or investigating inventory differences.
• Cannabis education, certification, or industry training.

• Orders are complete, accurate, and ready on time.
• Products and quantities are verified before orders leave fulfillment.
• Pickup, delivery, and in-store orders are never mixed together.
• Inventory and storage areas remain secure, clean, and organized.
• The sales floor and Register are restocked before products run out.
• Inventory problems are identified and reported immediately.
• Fulfillment, inventory, and cannabis compliance procedures are followed consistently.

Munchies provides required OCM and store training within 30 days of beginning licensed activities. Required training is provided at no cost and completed during paid working time. Employees must complete all required initial and ongoing training.
