Flagship Store Manager

This luxury home décor brand is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its New York boutique. With a focus on craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and exceptional client service, the brand offers an elevated retail experience for clients with an appreciation for beautiful objects and interiors.

This role combines commercial leadership, team development, and hands‑on boutique management. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in luxury retail, a passion for design, and the ability to build lasting client relationships while delivering sales results.

• Lead the boutique’s performance, achieving sales targets and monitoring conversion, average transaction value, and units per transaction.
• Deliver a warm, personalized client experience that reflects the brand’s service standards.
• Develop client outreach strategies to drive repeat business, appointments, and long-term loyalty.
• Build relationships with private clients, interior designers, and the local design community.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and communicating the value of materials, design, and craftsmanship.
• Oversee client inquiries, special orders, and after-sales service with care and attention to detail.

• Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing retail team.
• Set clear goals and provide regular feedback on sales performance, service, and operational standards.
• Foster a collaborative team culture built on accountability, professionalism, and hospitality.
• Manage scheduling and floor coverage to support business needs and service quality.

• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention.
• Maintain accurate stock records and coordinate deliveries, transfers, replenishment, and inventory counts.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards, ensuring thoughtful product presentation and an immaculate boutique environment.
• Manage controllable expenses and staffing within agreed budgets.
• Partner with head office on reporting, product feedback, merchandising needs, and local opportunities.
• Support in-store events and client appointments that strengthen relationships and generate sales.

• Proven retail management experience within luxury home décor, interiors, lifestyle, fashion, jewelry, or a related category.
• A track record of achieving sales goals and developing successful teams.
• Strong client relationship skills and experience using CRM tools to support personalized outreach.
• Commercial awareness and confidence interpreting sales reports to identify opportunities and guide action.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
