About the Role:The Senior Account Executive is responsible for supporting sales leadership in managing daily operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales and profit goals. This role involves account management, product development coordination, meeting preparation and follow-up.
Responsibilities:Account & Client Management
- Identify opportunities for account growth.
- Respond to buyer and assistant buyer inquiries regarding orders and samples.
- Track domestic and international communications and update the team on shipping status.
- Coordinate with QC and PD teams to address product quality.
- Resolve customer complaints and operational issues.
- Build and maintain long term client relationships.
- Work with Marketing & Creative teams to develop brand strategies and assets.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts and compare against budgets.
- Analyze retail sales, advertising exposure, and inventory projections.
- Identify top sellers, replenishment items, and clearance opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer allowances, returns, and sample inventory.
Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up
- Select and merchandise products for buyer meetings.
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and presentations with guidance from management.
- Follow up on meetings with notes, pricing decisions, and project updates.
- Build, organize and maintain cost sheets, spec sheets and sales materials.
Product Development
- Communicate buyer feedback to merchandising and product teams.
- Submit new product development requests and manage timelines.
- Collaborate on customer-specific collections.
Experience & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in jewelry, luxury goods, or retail.
- Strong knowledge of retail math and sales forecasting.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Collaboration and teamwork.
- Strong communications and presentation skills.
- Ability to build Power Points decks for customer presentations.
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), CoPilot, and Teams;
Navision is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay range and compensation package:
- Salary Range: $90,000–$100,000/year
- Competitive benefits package.
- Eligibility for management incentive bonus plan.
