Position SummaryThe Wholesale Account Representative is responsible for managing and growing revenue with Skywire Networks’ wholesale partners, including ISPs, managed service providers, carriers, and technology distributors. This role focuses on relationship development, solution positioning, quoting, deal structuring, and ongoing partner support to drive new opportunities and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with wholesale and carrier partners across the Skywire footprint.
- Identify new wholesale revenue opportunities through existing partners and strategic outbound engagement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all partner needs, including quoting, product guidance, pricing requests, and solution design coordination.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering to build and deliver technical solutions tailored to partner requirements.
- Manage end-to-end wholesale sales cycles including qualification, proposal delivery, contract execution, and handoff to provisioning.
- Maintain an active pipeline of wholesale opportunities and provide accurate forecasts to leadership.
- Educate partners on Skywire’s product portfolio (Internet Services, UCaaS, Cloud Connect, Fixed Wireless, POTS replacement, etc.).
- Ensure partner satisfaction through responsive communication, transparency, and consistent updates throughout the delivery process.
- Represent Skywire at industry events, partner meetings, and channel gatherings as needed.
- Work closely with internal teams (Provisioning, Engineering, Support, Billing) to ensure smooth and successful turn-ups for all partner orders.
- 2–5 years of experience in telecom, carrier, wholesale, or channel sales.
- Strong understanding of carrier services such as DIA, Ethernet, transport, VOIP, and cloud connectivity.
- Proven experience managing relationships with ISPs, MSPs, CLECs, VARs, or channel partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple partner accounts simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high responsiveness and attention to detail.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar).
- Experience selling or supporting fixed wireless, fiber, or enterprise connectivity solutions.
- Existing relationships within the NYC telecom or channel ecosystem.
- Technical understanding of network topology, last-mile connectivity, and service delivery.
