Sales Development Representative at Mansueto Ventures

Inc. & Fast Company is seeking a highly motivated Freelance Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive membership growth across our membership programs. This 3‑month contract position will require weekly in‑office presence on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at our corporate office at 7 World Trade Center, New York, NY. Hourly rate: $25 (40 hrs a week) and commission eligible. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, industry, and education.

Overview

You’ll learn how modern sales works—how to identify prospects, start smart conversations, build confidence on the phone, and understand how revenue is generated inside a media and membership business. You will have the chance to learn the role, build skills, and see if sales is the right path for you. The ideal candidate is curious, energetic, and willing to learn by doing.

You’ll Be Doing
  • Reach out to prospective members via email, phone, and Linked In
  • Learn how to research, qualify, and engage senior business leaders
  • Book and prepare qualified sales calls for the membership team
  • Track outreach and results using sales tools and CRM system
  • Receive regular coaching, feedback, and performance support
