Overview

Key Result Areas:
Achieve sales targets in volume and contribution, extend support to customers in the region, manage technical service requirements, drive business and marketing activities in the US, facilitate approval of non‑rubber grades, coordinate customer visits, and maintain regular MIS on competitors pricing.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales targets in volume and contribution.
  • Provide 100% accuracy in collections, receivables and collaterals like LC and remittance to India.
  • Drive business development and marketing activities in the US, identify grades to develop for different customers by segmentation.
  • Facilitate approval of existing non‑rubber grades and organize competitor samples.
  • Work with customer development team and technical support team from India to develop businesses with 100% accuracyli>
  • Identify and establish channel partners for overall business with 100% accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Establish grades with a clear brand identity and differentiate quality & service with 100% positive customer feedback.
  • Formulate marketing strategy and business plan for non‑rubber grades.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales team with 100% effectiveness.
  • Provide regular MIS and detailed information on competitor pricing for different products and markets.
  • Update on new grade introduction by competition with 100% accuracy.
  • Drive relationships with customers, end‑user industries and distribution channels.
  • Coordinate and facilitate visits of senior management from India to customers and distributors with 100% accuracy and positive feedback.

Work Relationships

Internal:
Sales and Marketing, Technical Support – responsible for formulating marketing strategy and business plan, driving business development and marketing activities in the USA.

External:
Customers, Development Team, End‑user industries – responsible for driving business development and marketing activities in the USA.

Education & Experience

Minimum education:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Polymer Engineering (Diploma/Graduate/B.Tech/BE/ME acceptable). Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 7–8 years of relevant industry experience in Sales and Business Development.

Functional skills:
Proficiency in English (mandatory), B2B experience in the chemical space (preferred), strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical skills, knowledge of MIS.

Must‑Haves
  • US Citizen/Green Card/Work Permit – no sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Polymer Engineering.
  • 7–8 years of experience in Sales and Business Development.
  • Proficiency in English language (mandatory).
  • Experience from the B2B industry in the chemical space (preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills & knowledge of MIS.
  • Based in Ohio state (look for candidates).
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
  • Master’s degree (preferred).
