Location: New York

This role is not suitable for entry-level sales candidates or those with only retail, in-store, or consumer sales experience (e.g., car sales, store sales, customer service).

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of proven B2B sales experience
, including:

  • Outbound phone and meeting-based sales
  • Managing and closing deals from a pipeline
  • Selling services to professional clients

Candidates must be comfortable selling to Attorneys and Real Estate Brokers — this is a non-negotiable requirement.

Real estate–related experience is a strong plus.

This role is base hourly + commissions.

Habitat Abstract, a fast-growing Title Insurance company underwritten by First American, is seeking a B2B Sales & Closing Specialist with experience in the title insurance industry to join our team. This is a part-time role with hourly pay plus commission, designed for someone who understands the basic title process, enjoys client outreach, and can build lasting relationships.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead call and follow up with real estate agents, attorneys, and clients to generate new title orders.
  • Work warm leads from our trainings, webinars, and existing pipeline.
  • Clearly explain and promote Habitat Abstract’s services to help clients save time and avoid closing delays.
  • Keep accurate records of calls, leads, and follow-ups; schedule appointments with executives as needed. Both on the phone & in-person in the both the New York City area & Long Island
  • Build and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business and client retention.
  • (Optional for local candidates) Represent Habitat at networking events, attorney lunches, or industry functions for opportunity for more $

  • Must have some knowledge or familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Experience in the title insurance industry a MAJOR PLUS (sales, closing, processing, or related role).
Compensation
  • Hourly base pay
