As a business development representative, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients, tasked with qualifying leads and creating opportunities for the sales team to close deals.

  • 1+ years of experience in finance, fintech, consulting or venture capital
  • Problem-solver who navigates the unknown confidently
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
  • Proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic settings

Responsibilities
  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through both inbound qualification and outbound outreach
  • Qualify leads using a consultative approach to uncover pain points and match them with Baselayer’s solutions
  • Expand the sales pipeline by executing both warm and cold outbound campaigns
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients and add them to the outreach list
  • Work directly with CEO and co-founders to scale the business

Salary

Salary Range: $75k – $95k, Plus Commission | Equity: 0.05% – 0.25%
