Overview
Amalgamated Bank seeks a dedicated Institutional Service & Sales, FVP who will report directly to the Trust Revenue Officer and will be accountable for institutional client service and business development. Primary responsibilities include client reporting, data analytics & lead generation. The candidate will be an integral part of the Trust team in helping to achieve organic growth targets. Cross-collaboration with banking partners to discover cross-sell opportunities for Investment Management, Custody and Benefit Disbursement.

- Actively support Client Service & Sales to help the team achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Creative lead generation by utilizing databases and attending industry conferences.
- Help deepen and expand consultant relationships across industry.
- Provide competitive analysis on industry peers to help properly position Amalgamated Bank’s services.
- Work in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Operations, Risk and Marketing.
- Passion to learn more about Taft-Hartley industry.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Travel 10% – 25% of the time.
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA or other equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years of institutional investment management or bank custody experience.
- Client Service and/or Sales Support experience.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
