Safara is a two-sided marketplace of consumers and hotels.

Consumers:
The Safara App is the best way for boutique hotel-lovers to manage, track, and book all of their hotels. Guests can book any hotel globally, including the big chains, but we curate independent boutique properties and try to highlight what makes them special. Our loyalty program rewards consumers on each booking with Safara Cashback to use towards future bookings at any hotel globally, with no restrictions.

Hotels:
We are on a mission to level the playing field for independent hotels with the OTAs & Big Chains. Our SaaS platform, Safara 360, delivers independents commission-free bookings, enhanced digital experience for guests, and better data to customize hospitality. We are in the process of creating a new category and are seeing strong early signal from our founder-led sales funnel.

Location
  • NYC, office is in Soho
  • Minimum 3 days per week in the office
  • You will be the first sales rep

Responsibilities
  • Generalist: help improve the product and grow the company by any means necessary
Must-Haves
  • 2-5 years of SaaS sales experience with demonstrated success in outbound
  • Some hospitality background in hotels or F&B
  • Passion for travel and boutique hotels
  • Highly-organized and extreme attention to detail
  • Competitive desire to win and work hard
Nice to Have
  • Big existing network in the hotel industry
  • Prior experience at a hotel technology startup
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Instantly
