As a VP of Sales with RBC Clear, you will help grow a new business within an established top tier financial institution by cultivating new cash management relationships across our Capital Markets clients - focused on the Technology segment. You will leverage your deep treasury product knowledge to develop and execute an industry focused sales strategy while developing partnerships with Client Relationship Managers, Investment Bankers, Account Management, Product and Operations teams.
This role will have a strong focus on developing cash management relationships across the Technology industry. An in-depth understanding of the treasury and cash management needs of companies in this market segment is critical.
What will you do?
- Must be able to persuasively articulate RBC Clear's value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
- Grow RBC Clear's client base and drive revenue by successfully prospecting and sourcing new cash management opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships
- Facilitate strategic dialogue focusing on key client-centric topics, deliver industry benchmarking insight, and partner cross functionally to contribute to the design of a tailored end-to-end cash management solution
- Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers, Account Management, and Product to bring forth client insights that will drive solution development and enhancement
- Raise new solution ideas while partnering with internal product stakeholders to represent the client perspective in the development and evolution of products and solutions
- Deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects and clients on working capital solutions at client round tables, industry conferences, webinars, and professional media platforms
- Devise and execute a plan to exceed sales goals
- Accountable for the development of a sales pipeline of both new and cross-sell opportunities and appropriately managing those opportunities through to decision
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years of cash management/treasury sales and relationship management experience - particularly Technology industry
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor
- Success developing new business with focus on prospecting utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, and across the RBC Capital Markets ecosystem
- Strong time management, organizational and planning skills
- Aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clients

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $150,000 - $190,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.
