Market Manager

Craft & Art has ambitious goals and we need someone to put their heart and soul into driving sales and brand awareness in New York.

• Deliver the annual sales plan for your market, including achievement of depletion and distribution goals along with personal KPIs developed with your manager
• Manage the brand portfolio within your market, ensuring proper management of depletions and inventory by SKU (preventing out-of-stocks and planning for future growth)
• Provide wholesalers and brand partners with clear and regular reporting around objectives such as distribution, depletions, shelf schematics, displays, pricing, menus, POS placement, promotions, and tastings.
• Working in-market most days, calling on accounts and actively develop and manage relationships with wholesaler personnel, particularly Sales Managers and Sales Representatives.
• Participate with your manager in wholesaler planning and sales meetings; ensure the successful execution of sales programming in your market
• Ensure implementation of price structures and shelf prices for all SKUs in your market
• Activation management: develop and implement creative programs to activate consumer awareness and sales, e.g., sampling events, consumer and trade tastings, promotions, educational events, festivals, etc.
• Travel whenever appropriate to observe business conditions and to call on key buyers, managers, and distributor personnel

• A minimum of three years’ experience in the beverage alcohol industry, with knowledge and experience of the premium spirits category
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and public speaking skills
• Proficient with Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• Ability to learn new computer programs quickly and efficiently
• 21 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation to travel to surrounding markets and make in-market visits while transporting program materials (liquor, giveaways, etc.)
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, and reach above shoulders, kneel, stoop or bend at the waist
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds
• $95,000 - $110,000 USD
