Insurance Brokerage Account Executive - Islip Terrace NY
Commercial Line Account ExecutiveLocation:
Islip Terrace Salary: $ + Bonus + Benefits
Our Client, a 15‑person Islip Terrace broker, requires a senior Account Executive to service and maintain all aspects of a variety of commercial accounts (premium ranging from $20,000 to $1,000,000). The book is diversified with a considerable number of real estate developers, general contractors, trades, construction, automotive, restaurants, and businesses typical of the tri‑state area.
Responsibilities- Service, market, and maintain commercial accounts
- Market renewals and new business on existing accounts
- Identify cross‑marketing opportunities and round out accounts
- Review applications and policies for accurate information
- Identify and explain coverage and lapses in coverage
- Prepare reports and proposals
- Oversee processing—claims reporting, auto , certificates of insurance, binders, etc.
- Current NYS broker’s license
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance
- Experience with navigation and online rating on company websites
- Thorough knowledge of all commercial lines coverage and products
