At Thoughtly we're looking for a founding Product Manager to join our team.
About ThoughtlyThoughtly is the AI-native voice platform that's turning every lead into a real conversation. Thoughtly's agents call, qualify, and convert pipeline at scale — no SDRs, no static funnels, no code required. For the first time in our customers' history, they can reach 100% of all leads. Enterprise teams at 2U, Siemens, and Nomad are augmenting their outbound teams with Thoughtly, with customers seeing close rates jump from 16% to 38% on their lowest-rated leads.
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build for a $1T annual market. Voice was just the beginning — Thoughtly is building the first fully autonomous CRM. It doesn't just track work — it does the work. The system of record becomes the system of action. This seed-stage rocket ship is backed by top investors like Armory Square Ventures, Afore, and Greycroft.
About the roleWe're looking for a Founding Product Manager to own how Thoughtly shows up in the market — the positioning, the narrative, the competitive edge that turns prospects into believers.
This role will be the connective tissue between customers, engineering, design, sales, and leadership. You'll be the voice of the customer internally, a key partner to our engineering team as we prioritize and ship, and the person who translates Thoughtly's vision into the product decisions that define the category. You'll work directly with the founding team on hard, unsolved AI product problems: UX for building autonomous agents, real-time conversation intelligence, and the trust required to let AI take action on behalf of revenue teams.
This is a highly impactful, high-ownership role with real influence over our product roadmap, platform strategy, and long-term direction. If you've been a founder or aspire to be one, we especially want to talk to you.
What You'll DoLive in your customers' world.
Customer empathy is the foundation of everything we build. The people using Thoughtly are sales reps, Rev Ops leaders, and growth teams trying to convert inbound leads before the window closes — and the end consumers on the other side of those calls have real frustrations, high stakes decisions, and zero patience for a bad experience.
You’ll talk to customers constantly — not to gather requirements, but because you genuinely want to understand how they think, where they feel friction, and what a win looks like to them. You'll ride along on sales calls. You'll listen to call recordings. You'll be the person in the room who can immediately translate a customer's complaint into a crisp product insight.
That deep empathy — combined with a clear view of what our platform can and can't do and where the competitive landscape is moving — is how you'll figure out where to invest.
When you're close enough to customers, the right problems find you.
Multiply the team.Remove blockers before they become blockers. Nail launch plans so what ships actually gets adopted. De-risk decisions early. Keep everyone aligned without bureaucracy. The team should be accelerated by you, not waiting on you. Most importantly:
Use AI to build prototypes.
Conversation AI is moving weekly. Designs still take time. Customer feedback loops still take time. Your job is to compress every non-engineering cycle so we have extraordinary velocity end-to-end — not just in the codebase. Expect to reinvent how you work.
Ship product end-to-end.Spec it, build it with engineering, test it with customers, launch it, measure it, iterate. Own the metrics — conversation completion rates, lead conversion lift, agent utilization, expansion revenue. Think about what makes someone upgrade, not just what makes someone sign up. Write a PRD when it's useful; skip it and ship a prototype when it's not.
Set the quality bar.Every conversation our agents have is a first impression for our customers' brands. You'll QA flows personally — not because no one else will, but because that's how you catch what needs to be better. Push for the polish that makes Thoughtly feel like it was built by people who care. Low-ego. If something needs…
